Scholarship

Description of the Scholarship

In memory of their father, the Cary sisters established the Isaac Harris Cary Educational Fund in Lexington in 1921. The Scholarship Program grants educational scholarships to Lexington high school graduates of New England birth or parentage who are deemed both needing and worthy of assistance. Once awarded, the Cary Educational Fund Scholarship Committee tries to provide each student with funds for up to four years (eight semesters) of college. Unless a student’s circumstances have significantly changed, there is no re-application needed in subsequent years. Typically, the Fund awards more than $60,000 in scholarships annually.

Scholarship Application

Current Lexington High School students should access the Scholarship application through the Naviance System.

All other applicants should contact caryscholarship@gmail.com for a copy of the application.

Postmark completed application and accompanying materials by April 5, 2024 to the:

Cary Educational Fund

Attn: Scholarship Chair
